⏺ The award ceremony was held on May 17, 2022, in Bangalore to present Hyundai Construction Equipment with a trophy and certificate for Winning the Design Award in the Innovation category at Excon 2022 which is the largest exhibition in South Asia scheduled from 17-21st May 2022 in Bangalore, Southern India.

Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Hyundai Genuine (the holding company for Hyundai Heavy Industries Group's construction machinery division), is awarded the main prize in the Innovation category at the Yellow Dot Design Award 2022 for its R215L model.
The Yellow Dot Award was organized by Ark Events & Media Pvt. Ltd., a media company. Ark covers news from the construction industry and manufacturers of construction equipment, and it is very popular in India. Monthly publications include Equipment Times and Construction Times.
The Award was conceptualized to catalyze the Spirit of Innovation in the Construction and Mining Equipment space by identifying and honoring the innovative design of equipment and machinery by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), as well as Component & Aggregate manufacturers.

Hyundai CE India presented the Hyundai R215L SMART PLUS crawler excavator, which was launched in Jan 2021 as a product designed with the Customer Voice in Mind.
